Privacy Policy

Scorefly is a darts scoring app for iPhone and iPad. This policy describes the data handled by the App Store release of Scorefly and the Scorefly marketing website.

Data We Do Not Collect

Scorefly does not require an account.

Scorefly does not collect or transmit names, email addresses, contacts, location, photos, microphone data, camera data, or advertising identifiers to a Scorefly server.

Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

Free users may see Google ads on the home screen, game setup screens, and the win screen. Scorefly does not show ads during active scoring or in game menus during a live match. Scorefly Plus removes ads.

Scorefly requests less-targeted ads and does not ask for Apple tracking permission in this release. Google Mobile Ads may process data such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising data, ad interactions, crash data, and performance data to serve and measure ads. This ad data is not used by Scorefly for tracking.

Scorefly uses focused paywall analytics and error monitoring in the app. Scorefly does not use broad gameplay analytics or normal session replay.

Scorefly does not include in-app bug report submission in this release.

Website Analytics

The Scorefly marketing website uses a lightweight analytics script from ix.nickradford.dev to understand overall website usage. This website analytics is separate from the Scorefly app and is not used for in-app tracking.

Purchases

Scorefly offers optional Scorefly Plus purchase options. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Scorefly uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status, unlock Plus features, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process purchase history for app functionality. This purchase history is not used for tracking.

Game Data

Game setup and scoring data, such as player names entered for a match and current game state, is used to run the scoring experience on the device. Scorefly does not transmit this game data off the device to a Scorefly server in this release.

Children

Scorefly is a general darts scoring utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated if future versions change advertising, add analytics, support requests, accounts, or other data handling. The updated policy will describe those changes.
